Our first match in the quadrangular series was a close one where Malaysia won by 11 runs. The boys played well but the regular fall of wickets led to our defeat.
But we also had some notable performances – Imran Anwar’s 44 off 28 balls with 5 sixes was magnificent to watch as was Sohail’s 31 in 31 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.
Junaid Aziz also played a good knock scoring 29 off 14 balls with 4 sixes, he also picked up a wicket. Of the bowlers, Rizwan Butt picked up 2 wickets while Imran Khan, Imran Anwer, as well as Sarfaraz, picked up one wicket each.
