Women’s Team Squad Announced

The BCF has officially announced the 15-member Bahrain Women national cricket squad for the upcoming ACC Women T20 Championship scheduled to be held next month. The squad was selected following a series of intensive trials and practice matches.

Head Coach announced the squad at a press conference at the BCF headquarters, highlighting the blend of experienced campaigners and exciting young talent. Several uncapped players have been included after impressing in the domestic Women T20 League.

Key selections include the return of veteran all-rounder Fatima Khan who missed the last tournament due to injury, and the promotion of two Under-19 players who have shown exceptional promise in age-group cricket.

The squad will begin a two-week training camp at the National Cricket Academy before departing for the tournament. BCF has set a target of reaching the semifinals, which would represent the best-ever performance by Bahrain women team at an ACC event.
