World Cup Trophy Reception

The Bahrain cricket community came together for a special reception celebrating the visit of the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy as part of its global tour ahead of the upcoming tournament. The event, held at the Bahrain National Cricket Stadium, drew over 2,000 fans and cricket enthusiasts.

The trophy tour visit included appearances by former international cricketers who participated in a clinic for young players and signed autographs for fans. The event was organized in partnership with local sponsors and the Bahrain Tourism Authority.

BCF used the occasion to announce several new grassroots cricket programs aimed at increasing participation among school-age children across the Kingdom. The federation revealed plans to establish cricket programs in over 50 schools by the end of the year.

The reception concluded with a gala dinner attended by BCF officials, government representatives, sponsors, and cricket fans, marking one of the most high-profile cricket events in Bahrain recent history.
