ACC Premier Cup Results

Bahrain delivered an impressive campaign at the ACC Premier Cup, securing qualification for the next round of the tournament with a series of dominant performances across all departments of the game.

The team won four of their five group stage matches, with the only defeat coming against a strong UAE side in a rain-affected fixture. The batting unit was in prolific form throughout the tournament, with three players scoring over 150 runs each.

Highlights of the campaign included a record-breaking 245 for 5 against Maldives, the highest T20I total by Bahrain in an ACC event, and a spectacular bowling performance against Singapore where the attack bundled out the opposition for just 67 runs.

The qualification ensures Bahrain will compete in the next phase of the ACC pathway, bringing them closer to potential ICC World Cup qualification. BCF has praised the squad effort and credited the coaching staff for the preparation that underpinned the successful campaign.
